Cancun

This post is LONG overdue!  We started off our summer with a family vacation to Cancun.  We were there for a full week which may have been a little long for some of us named Karys.  ;) But overall it was a fabulous trip with Chad's family.  There were 19 of us total and everyone had a fabulous time!

Carston and Karys were super excited about the airplane ride!  They have both flown multiple times but they are really at an age where they realize whats going on!

The resort featured Fisher Price and Little People.  Every restaurant had toys to grab when you walked in and they had a Little People channel 24/7.  I officially have had my fill of Little People!  Carston and Karys loved playing in the kids club.  They were able to participate in a lot of fun activities!

Rock Climbing
Ball Pit

Little People breakfast
Free ice cream anytime of day...who doesn't love that!  Of course Carston opted for ice water instead!  Love him!

The sprinkler park was a huge hit.  Carston and Karys were in heaven!
Wheee....

Airplane float
Karys and I washing clothes, I Love Lucy style!

Everyday Carston and Karys would race inside to see what creation the housekeeper had left us.  Karys insisted that we take her picture each day with the towel creation!
A GIRL bunny (according to Karys)

A girl
Perhaps a sheep ?!
Some of the wild life!  This crab was much larger than it appears in this picture!!  Carston's goal was to see an iguana before we left.  On day 6 of our trip he saw not 1 but 5 on the tennis courts!

Every night there was a show for the kids and an adult show.
The best part of each show was watching Carston and Karys dance on the stage!  They loved performing!
Umm...hello Michael Jackson
Tarzan

Fancy schmancy...room service!  Carston and Karys thought this was the best thing ever!  Who knew you could have food delivered right to your room!!

Ceramic painting
Everyday was windy which made for perfect kite flying weather!  Good thing I thought to grab some!  To bad I splurged for the $1 kite!  We did manage to get the kites in the air for a minute or two but the majority of the time the kite was in the sand!  Carston and Karys thought the $1 kites were just perfect!

Karys was exhausted towards the end of the trip!  Nothing made her happy!  She was ready to come home to her pink room!!

Our annual beach pictures!!

And lastly the perfect ending...

**Wowza...that was a marathon post!  Perhaps that's why I kept putting it off!!
