My wonderful friend Ashlie took pictures of Karys for her second birthday. God gave us quite a few obstacles but these pictures were SOOO worth the wait! We had to reschedule several times due to sickness and weather. We finally picked a day that was going to work! There was rain in the forecast but we decided to go for it! Today was the day!! When we got to the Arboretum there were clouds in the sky but it was a GO! After about 30 minutes we started to hear a little thunder...followed by a lot of thunder. Then a few sprinkles...followed by big drops. Eventually, the little storm was a big storm!! Big gusts of wind, pouring rain, crazy lightning and hail! Originally, we waited the storm out on a porch but when the strong winds and hail came we ended up going inside for lunch. A fancy lunch...with glass cups and ceramic plates! Oye Ve!! Sometimes the best memories are the most challenging!
