Nature school hosts a fall festival every year called "Dark in the Park." Carston and Karys were so excited to go and play in the dark! This event is very family friendly and was geared for kids Carston and Karys' age.
We started off with a hayride from the parking lot to the park. Which was a lot of fun! We were on the pirate hayride which Carston loved! Ay Matey!
They had several different safety vehicles to explore. Carston and Karys both loved the firetruck!
Carston and Karys loved the pumpkin maze! It provided several giggles to the parents too! Who knew hitting a pumpkin through a maze could be so hard!

A little crafting! Karys wanted to make EVERY craft and Carston was happy talked into one!
For "Crazy Lanterns" Karys was supposed to trace a pumpkin pattern on orange paper and then cut them out! She was determined to this all on her OWN! She was so proud of her "Lanterns"

One of the activities was practicing putting up a tent and preparing for camping. Carston and Karys loved putting the tent up!
The best part of the night...playing in the tent that "They" built!!
