We have had a rough stretch of ickyness, sleepless nights, crying fits, extra sensitive feelings....the list could go on and on. And we with that rough stretch comes the blessings of extra cuddles, sleeping on mommy and daddy's chest, and lots of extra love!
Carston and Karys...life is all about perspective. We have definetely had some stressful times over the past few months but ultimately we know, "It won't be like this for long." We pray that following your surgeries, you will be on the road to healthy. We choose to celebrate these special moments that God gave us with you and embrace the extra cuddles and love we have shared over the past few weeks/months.
This is a verse from one of my favorite songs that I love to reflect on.
It Won't be like this for Long
By Darius Rucker
It won’t be like this for long
One day soon that little little girl is gonna be
All grown up and gone
Yeah, this phase is gonna fly by
So, he's tryin’ to hold on
One day soon that little little girl is gonna be
All grown up and gone
Yeah, this phase is gonna fly by
So, he's tryin’ to hold on

Hold on to those that are dear to you...every day, every minute, every second is a treasure. My hope is that you to will learn to cherish each moment and always try to find the positive. It doesn't mean it won't be hard but just remember, "It won't be like this for long"
Love,
Mommy
